Apart from singing she also teaches English to seniors, volunteers with community policing, and helps out every week at the Kerrisdale Senior’s centre coffee bar.

It was just by accident that they ended up buying a house in Kerrisdale, bringing Nan's life full circle. Today she is an avid gardener and has a beautiful garden.
